Strategic Advisor
Advisory, part-time involvement in the specific areas where your experience changes outcomes.
Some decisions are made better by someone who has already made them once. This is for experienced operators, founders, executives, investors or domain experts who can contribute specific expertise, introductions, strategic guidance or industry knowledge. It is a focused, low-frequency advisory involvement — not an operating founding-team role, and it does not carry the same terms as the operating roles. Any advisory arrangement, including whether equity is offered at all, is agreed individually.
Responsibilities
- Periodic working sessions with the founder
- Input on strategy in your area of depth
- Pressure-testing product, market or commercial assumptions
- Pattern recognition from companies at a similar stage
- Selective introductions where genuinely useful
Ideal background
- Advertising, growth or performance marketing at scale
- AI / applied ML product experience
- Operating, founding or investing experience at early-stage companies
- Go-to-market, partnerships or category building
What matters more than credentials
- Depth in one area beats breadth across many.
- Directness — useful advisors disagree early.
- Realistic, sustainable involvement over an impressive title.
Company stage & compensation
This is an early-stage, pre-funding opportunity. Cash compensation is expected following successful financing and formal company formation, subject to a separately agreed compensation arrangement. Equity terms, if offered, are determined individually based on role, experience, commitment and long-term involvement. Nothing here is a guarantee of compensation, equity or engagement.
